A distant family member
Asked with much distain
Vomit the pain
Swallow some pills
She floats back to her
Beautiful garden
She swallows her
Pride, dignity bruised
With shame, attempts
To bring awareness, I live
In an RV without an address
Homelessness has no bias
Quietly she slips into
The darkness
Take a peak, can
Anyone see? Hurriedly
Washing coffee cans, a
New updated lavatory
Years of abuse she
Cannot erase
Her body weak, brain
Devoured, addiction a
Pleasant escape
Housing programs
Swirling in circles,
Thick red tape, another
Waiting list, a daunting
Process, how to stay
Warm? Too cold to
Concentrate
