The Good Poem
by Avendor
A day in May!
by Jaison Kirk
Gotta get back
to sowing words
and planting poetrees
Fires burning in the streets
Fueled by the drum beats
By the river in the city of roses.
All the actors and pantomimes caught in poses.
God tilt
your watering tin
and rain down upon me
When the time comes we all have to pay the piper
A rose in her prime will always get riper.
On this planet
you’ll find pomegranates
and children with cosmic dreams
Yeah our souls
can get a little dirty
but they can always be scrubbed clean
So lets build aqueducts
and work to sustain
a healthy field of play
Anything is Better Than This or
How Crazy People Get Elected
And if we can.
for Christ sake man
get some love at the end of the day
by Peter Salzmann
I can’t stand it anymore
Can’t find my keys
Can’t find the door
Can’t even get off the floor
Can’t really see
Is it you or me
That has to change
To something strange
I can’t get out
I want to shout
I want escape
And I don’t care
Just what I dare
I’ll vote for Trump, because he’s mad
Because I’m sad
All in a rage
Destroy my cage
Fret not these battles
nor these thorns
for they’ll melt away like wax
And a garden of Eden
with towns and cities
will surely welcome us back

At Health Share, we
believe good health is
more than what happens
inside your doctor's office.
Good health starts in your
community and includes
staying active, eating
healthy food and getting
regular check-ups.
Share your healthy habits
with family and friends. We
can all have better health
when we share it together.
