Life at Night Time

Voices rushing through my head
Why does no one else hear?
As I walk along the streets in Portland
Looking up at the stars in the sky, seeing
The last of sunset to early moonlight.
People surround me
talk endless babble
only I can answer back
only I can see
Tranquilateral
Perseverance

The power of influence
Always pulling one apart
Being one with nature
Is truly the best start
Love is the core
Holding all things together
May our words be soft and gentle
Like that of a dove’s feather
We may not always see eye to eye
But never forget to try another try
Like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly
Destiny’s achieved as she spreads her wings to the sky
As pretty as the night is going to be
I am smiling as bright as the stars and
My eyes are wide open and bright
as the night goes on.
Mania created audiences
I’m on full
Endless amounts of energy
But it’s jerking me away from the “norm”
Looking at the people going, some in love,
Some in search of love, others happy
Being single walking down the street.
So let us persevere likewise
Able to break forth
Living to love, loving to live
That’s what life is really worth
Every day here becomes the same,
Medications, sedations
I finally sleep
Tomorrows are becoming today
Today, I notice my surroundings
I remember people’s names
faces become familiar
Waiting for tomorrow
Waiting for the next time
Voices rushing through my head
