or People’s Peace

Nations fight for power
In order to feel safe
People fight for peace
Their families and their names
Nations kill for greed
More unnecessary things
People kill for need
Or abstracts built of strings
Nations love to win
Contests distract the crowd
People love to achieve
And make their families proud
Nations build over others
Conquest leads to famine

People build to grow
That their kind might not vanish
