And now th e full m oon glows
w h a t g e ts you blue
W ith sh o o tin g s ta rs in m otion
In sp rin g th e days grow long
W ho m ak e s you laugh,

w ho k e e p s you tr u e
T h e n ig h ts still cold and b rief
T h e w a rm w ind b rin g s relief
T h e th in g s you le a rn e d ,
A nd h o m e is in th e city
th e w ays you g rew
T h e riv e r flows so p re tty
T h e p ain y o u ’ve felt

As a child I recall envisioning N o rth w e st A m erica
Your w isdom sh in e s th ro u g h goals you ch o o se
b u t a m ove w as far on th e h o rizo n
I h o p e to le a rn , an d love th e view
P ic tu re s could a t b e s t only m im ic th e a tm o sp h e re -
T h e p ristin e air and w a te r envelops th e land,
of all th e th in g s th a t m ake up you.
P e p p e re d w ith tre e s and wildlife, th e n th e d rea m faded
I w as stu c k in a hellhole called L as Vegas, ugh!
So it w as so sad, no n e e d for details, cru m b y m otels,
e n d le ss vices, 2 4 /7 drin k in g and d ru g s, b ro th e ls
an d gam bling artificially im p o sed w ith a W ynn fam ily m ix
