Spirit of the Street
Save the World
by Maddy Brown-Clark
by Saoirse-Seersha Bell
Can we save the world?
If we all get together
No matter what creed or color
Can we dream about forever?
Can we save the polluted earth?
Can we turn back global warming?
Save the animals from extinction
If we all get together
Can we rediscover love?
Set our sights on the stars above?
We must all get together
Maybe we can save the world
Do not cry for me, stand with me.
Like a common dandelion growing out of the crack
between the street and the curb,
I am thriving where fate has planted me.
I am not daunted, I am daunting.
Dent de lion, French for dandelion,
means tooth of the lion.
At Street Roots, I have found my strength.
How do you share health?
At Health Share, we
believe good health is
more than what happens
inside your doctor's office.
Good health starts in your
community and includes
staying active, eating
healthy food and getting
regular check-ups.
Share your healthy habits
with family and friends. We
can all have better health
when we share it together.
