On The Brink of
Insanity Compassion
by Leo Rhodes
Yesterday I saw strength and courage
A strong love for another human being
Compassion and support
Her words
“I just want to be normal”
No mirrors
I don’t want to see my reflection
So much pain
Physically and Mentally
A story that needs to be heard
A story that needs to be seen
Gone to Space
by Michone Nettles
As I stand up next to a mountain
Slopes dip deep through ridges of forests
Trees protrude out of nowhere and
End up spipewbgr^ else
Life ongoing, each breath inhaled and eidialed.
The mist of morning’s dew
On top of forehead’s sweat from a day’s labor.
We all need somebody
sometime.
