These eyes have witnessed a lifetime of struggle,
From abroad to so cíose to home, it’s nerve-racking
Fear and strife stirs in the darkness
From the screams that are silent before their time,
To the echoes that resound as a whisper in the journey of life to its very end
A yell throughout infinity in this new and slightly used realm of space and time
Continues onward into this undiscovered juncture.
Emits a tiniest of a spark of hope
Igniting a grand flame of hope to defeat despair and pain.
Yes, w<e have experienced such challenges
Let it not conquer our hopes and give in to all fear
Yes, for a period of time we live among our strife
In our darkest horn- till now a new dawn of life in a bright day of glory.
Our victory not yet complete, but 50 percent loaded
And then it happens, power outage and files lost
Waiting to reboot the system.
