S p rin k le r h ea d s pulled o u t th e ir piping to spill
is such a chore for a w riter
P recio u s fresh w a te r straig h t dow n th e drain
No m ortal, fallen hum an has all th e answ ers.
In sp ite of th e drought, ju s t to sp ite th e ratio n ed
W ho ho n o rs th e fish and all else su stain ed by h e r
Spiting th e sm all farm e r paying th e ir cru e l w ater-rate
Lafe is n o t digitally experienced.
Life is lived in stereo, real tim e.
W atch th e w a te r spill th a t should b le ss th e crop
So relax, you m u st take tim e so you can heal.

Sight, smell, taste, hearing and feeling.
I am transfixed.
