I’m not sure you can get out of this one, Cathy,’ I whisper to myself as I try to lay
out 20- to 30-dollar pairs of jeans as cardboard and fancy halter tops and tees for
cushioning. So much for plans of dressing up, chasing boys and dancing the night
away at rambunctious clubs. Instead, I am dumped off the Greyhound with no car,
in debt from cash loans, homeless with trepidation of losing my daughter weighing
heavy.

were published incorrectly.
Eric Zimmerman’s responses about an
appointed sheriff and a Regional Air Quality
Bureau were transposed in the original
publication on April. Zimmerman supports
an elected sheriff and a Regional Air
Quality Bureau. The complete, corrected
