Can We Describe What is
Lost
Alienation

I am told “you’re just a baby”, but I feel those days don’t quite
make it my way. Growing up fast, being responsible and
taking care of others were ways to grow up. Not playing in
sand and dirt, roughing up my skin and skirts and getting a
few bumps and bruises.
Instead, I was kept away with only news, religion and
discipline.
What happened to running likethe wind?.
Cawing like the crows, being free with time.
How can I miss what I never had the chance to live and do as

They are all gone, most are dead for certain.
Memories ace vague,
but it would seem that everything I thought,
most of what they told me, .
and all my basic assumptions were wrong.
I have very, little to do with that person;
I am, in fret, somebody else.
The world I believed in wasn’t really there;
so I am someone else living on a different planet.
a child? .
When I was a child.
But I do miss what I did not have.
For my im a g in a tio n , interaction and exposure to childhood
created it all around me to see through others’ eyes.
I try though but I am older. I still have to be responsible, I
still grew up too fast and I care too much for others. Now I
can experience childhood through the eyes and interaction
with my daughter.
