Silent Observations
by Don Grubb ?
Second Spring
by Kareem Ali
We have gone through this awful pain
Where flakes put on a heavy show
of sculptured ice and fractured rain
Before it has to cease and go.
Winter remains with all its might
Knowing what the rain will bring
The cold elopes into the night
Escaping the blooming w rath of spring.
Sitting alone in a room
Without a mop, not even a broom
* ,
no* windows only walls
but there’s unseen wisdom
crying as she calls
.

r .
So embrace her tightly, seizing the time
Grab a pen, some paper, and write
an inspiring beautiful rhyme.
Because words can be like a beautiful rose
proving a Sweet smelling fragrance to one’s nose
or they can be , like nails once removed from the wall;
The hole is still visible, clearly seen by all!
So as I look intently up above
I’m reminded that “All we need is love”
So speak up silent observer
because words held in can be painful,
even scarring one’s own-souk
j
I’ll share this positive reassurance,
“Comforting,' helping and loving - yeah — will always b em y role!”

by Wyman Wilson
You can turn a rose into poison
by the voice of one’s h e a rt..
And darkness of the soul erases
outer beauty. Looking out a
window to another world, wondering
what the -future may bring and
.after they take prayer out of.
schools, but when you’re in court
for a date, better not be late. In a
world where evil reigns and pain...
But without pain we wouldn’t know
happiness, so I guess we
could say it equals out. I watch
on, I wonder of life and thereafter,
m ap, so complex. Could it be made
easier if we could all redirect.
There are some that know and
time will tell. Until then let’s
live a life in peace,, surrounded by hell.
The seeker
by Keith Harris
Reaching up and out of our self made hell so our soul we won’t sell
Easy the path won’t be I know so gratitude I need So
Can’t say for sure I will endure
Over helping another as a brother, a friend to the end
Very serious we must be when it comes to our recovery
Each step one by one recovery is never won g|
Ready we are to help the newcomer; who walks through the door, for evermore
Yes, recovery for we never are recovered. This is a lifetime journey
