“Pickany dusk”
by Avendor
Caged Bird Revised
by WiHiam Adams' ,
Pick any dusk
and I . am deprived
I patch up a leak
and it springs into madness
The roses are haunted
and gleam in the jeans
Petals fall to the ground
of my shady soul
...His tune is heard on a distant hill by the free bird,
Who in turn springs into action to free the caged bird.
Gathering his flying and rodent allies into a wildfire army,
That night they storm the castle,
Trash the place,
Take down the one holding the other captive,
Break those bars of rage,
The caged bird is free.
They run and fly by laughing at the knocked out captor,
The what used to he caged bird has one last idea before leaving,
The free bird says, “Ya, ya, do it!,”
The formerly caged bird flies back,
Just to leave a nice splat on his former captor’s head,
Before all run out to the free world.
