Street roots 15 May 23, 2014 The Fishing Park by Sebastian Mel moth My best friend lives in Thailand and ~ he took me to th e fishing park one day. We rented 2 rods, bought dinner of rice and grapow muu sap and beers, but we didn’t catch a thing. It wasn’t so much àboùt catching fish às it was about the experience of being outside in the heat, casting and recasting arid retreating into the shade to lie in our hammocks. Life was simple, even though the fish v all got away, I didn’t mind. I preferred the hammocks lying there in the shade reading a book and listening to the fish jump and the mèri cast and recast. The chickens would strut next to me and cackle, and on the other side of the lake the goats would be herded to their pens.
