Sorrowful wind
An empty black sky
The moon shining down as the clouds start to cry
So bleak and so cold is this wind blown hillside
But little do you know
This is where the wolves reside
In the darkest hour of stars
In the embrace of the night
These creatures of wonder sing by the moon’s light
And the melody echoes off of your heart
As the sun slowly dies
The wolves play their part
One voice raised in song
And another joins in
Telling the stories of worlds that have been
The secrets of night and the promise of stars
The power of music
As the howls heal all scars
Eyes shining so bright
And reflecting the mood unbroken by dark
And reliving the tune
The night is their claim
And the moon is their heart
The stars are their thoughts
And the wind is their start
This hill of the wolves
Where they rise up to sing
This will always be theirs
And the hope they will bring
