Love doesn’t do that, addiction does, adrenalin junkies caught up in the rush, the surrender, to the unforgivable. Private invitations, VIP passes our own self-created versions of hell. Who knew. Slashes and stitches, bruised bones, hearts lost to battlefields and bomb zones. No mercy here, no do-overs, ever clear. Yup, your honor, we did go there.
