By Soup Can Sam, Staff Astrologist
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 23)
Snack away on the trail and snack mixes. Do one
better and pick out all the good nuts and wasabi
peas. Yum.
Capricorn (Dec. 24-Jan. 19) Truces are truces,
no matter how informal. Breaking them appears to
spell out b-a-d n-e-w-s. Conflict is in the air. Take
initiative: Begin the peace talks.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) See you later,
Twinkies! The bad relationship is over. It’s finally
time to move on. Hello, Ding Dongs! Wait,
nevermind.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) Peanut butter and
jelly is a well-known staple. Lesser known but
equally delish is Soup Can’s special leftover

Aries (March 21 -April 19) Hungry + Angry =
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22) This is a great time of
Hangry. Sink your teeth into the best pizza you can

with the nearest human for details.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Get out your knitting
and your yule logs. Dark days ahead.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) Make sure you know
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Read up on some
that symbol’s true meaning. It’d be kind of weird, but
funny, if you got your symbols crossed (poet looks
pretty darn close to chicken). Not to worry — it’s not
like it’s permanent.
historical figures: Lincoln, Galileo, Elmo, Eisenhower.
Not all quite dead (or human). We can still learn from
their personal stories.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Just like wacky uncle
Sal used to say, “You can’t make an omelet without
first boiling the potatoes and stirring the pasta
sauce.” That Sal never was very good in the kitchen.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Stretch your brain
and memorize a part or all of your favorite poem.
Reciting Frost or Shakespeare is pretty impressive:
reciting your personal rival’s poem is downright
hilarious.
