Measure 79 would amend Oregon’s constitution, banning local jurisdictions from being able to create
a real estate transfer tax. We shouldn’t amend the constitution for one industry. Measure 79 would
close the door on local governments’ future options to take care of vulnerable citizens. The choice
should be made by Oregonians, not private industry.
