Sky Music
by .Speechless Poems.
A symphony in the sky
Stars twinkling
Quietly ringing
Thousands of tiny silver bells
Being Human?
By Leo Rhodes
Midnight cloudless night
I am the voice you never hear
If I spoke would you listen?
I am the ugly duckling
Visable in your pretty little world
I am the criminal when I try to sleep
I am the nuisance
Trying to keep dry out of the rain
I am the homeless person
Looking for dignity and a safe secure place
Lightning flashing
Timing is everything
Silently keeping measure
A symphony in the sky
“E m ily, ” compressed charcoal draw ing on

Thunder booming
Drumming frantically
Clash of cymbals fills the air

O
Wind rushing
Noisily singing
As clarinets, flutes and horns
A symphony in the sky
Only for a moment
by Wallace E. High
I play at writing as I play at life,
The ink flows black as my blood flows blue
Words tumble and toss like my body half awake
They stumble and stammer and assault each page
Like; this writhing carcass of laughter and rage
For I’m annoyed, disappointed in my puny scrawls
As I scribble and dream, then scowling and screaming
I am tempted to hurl away the beckoning wastebasket
Filled with the cast-off scraps of foiled ambition
Unworthy faulty schemes and impotent effort
The remnant traces of a hard and troubled life
Constructed in a motley series of eager beginnings
Now winding down in exhaustion of futile starts,
The fires of resolve fading toward mute surrender
But only for a moment!
