ARIES (21 Mar-19 April): Your love for
drama is requited this month You attract
exciting, and wonderfully excitable, people
who come to teach you something. If
nothing else, how to keep them at bay. Be
careful what you whistle for. You're offered
a fresh chance to do what you said you
would, a process that can be applied to the
future with great success.
LIBRA (23 Sept-23 Oct): This month's truth
to ponder our lives are what we make of
them. The present is the past made flesh;
the future is what we do now. In this
simplest and fairest of all systems, choice is
the only variable. Argue less and reason
more; act without reacting; do what you
know is right. Independence has no
meaning without relationship.
TAURUS (20 Apnl-20 May): Emotional
matters continue to be a smarmy mess.
Expecting clarity will only lead to pain and
sadness. The idea is to breathe in and out,
keep one nostnl above the waves and wait
for the universe to make sense again. Resist
to your last breath any urge to control
things. The cards are being shuffled; whistle
softly and wait for the deal.
SCORPIO (24 Oct-22 Nov): Possibilities for
being an insensitive jerk abound. You're
feeling thwarted, undervalued and
misunderstood. Here’s a thought instead of
getting angry and even, why not stop
indulging your gift for self-righteousness?
Say what you mean without speaking your
mind and expect more of yourself than you
do from others.
GEMINI (21 May-21 June): A very cute
love bug is stalking you. Bide your time by
taking a cold, hard look at your romantic
history. Treat the episodes as sagas and tell
them round the campfire of your mind.
Learn deeply and discriminate. While it’s
true that nothing dies, life is short: too short
to cast your emotional pearls in front of
anyone not of like mind.
CANCER (22 June-22 July): A good time to
do more o f what you want to do and less of
what you don't. In the midst o f much
change, you find stability. Notice the
enduring aspects of your life and honor
them. Great leaps aren’t possible without
faith: the magic that changes what might be
into what is. Success isn’t measured by
stuff; it’s measured by how often you laugh.
LEO (23 July-22 August): Your request that
life be interesting is granted in spades.
Remind yourself often that pleasure and
excitement aren’t necessarily the same thing.
Abandon all notions of routine; trust that the
gaily colored kite of your karma knows
where it’s going. Your only goal is to
understand the nature of the trip and
disavow all expectations
VIRGO (23 August-22 Sept): Someone
comes seeking shelter from the storm. Give
it and say thank you. It’s they who bring the
real gift: opportunity for compassion. Apply
it to your nitwit friends who insist on
disagreeing with you. And to yourself, for
being too brickheaded to admit that, in a
four dimensional universe, there are at least
two sides, both of them necessary.

SAGITTARIUS (23 Nov-21 Dec): You’re
feeling restless, unsatisfied and penned in.
People of like mind don’t seem so like
minded anymore, you smell greener
pastures, you could do something you’ll
regret. Take stock and focus your
dissatisfaction on your own warts. All
things flow from the center, all obstructions
can be dealt with and life, for better or
worse, goes on.
CAPRICORN (22 D ec-19 Jan): As Abe
Lincoln noted, we’re about as happy as we
decide to be. If you must whine, do it and
get it over with. If you’re not having fun,
you’re either doing the wrong thing or doing
the right thing wrong. Throw yourself into
your work and spend time with people who
love you; the ones who’ll jam a cork in your
mouth when you need it.

There is more joy in the newspaper world over one sinner
who cuts his sweetheart’s throat than over the ninety-nine
just men who marry and live happily ever after. A.P.

AQUARIUS (20 Jan-18 Feb): Expansion
and progress, work rewarded, difficulties
harmonized. The personal power you feel
isn’t an illusion; avoid squandering it on
foolishness. A new balance is established
between work and home, your mind
wanders in fruitful places, you’re a magnet
for interesting strangcis. If possible, get out
of town and charge your batteries.
Too."

PISCES ( 19 Feb-20 Mar): Your emotional
saga continues. Delicious infighting, subtle
struggles for power, opportunities to say
things you can never take back. There’s a
difference between honesty and candor.
Ponder it deeply. On the bright side, your
nearly toxic levels of charm serve you well.
Perhaps too well. Someone wants to dance,
perhaps too closely.
