Some think if there are rappers in movies it is
bad. But in "Bad Boys", it is a completely different
story. The Fresh Prince Will Smith has dropped
the 'Fresh Prince' from his name to become a
movie actor. "Bad Boys" is his second movie.
Along with Martin Lawrence, the two make the
movie an action packed thrill ride. The movie is
about two black drug cops in Miami. Their latest
bust went great. They seized a few thousand
pounds of heroin. After they get home,
something bad happens - it gets stolen.
They check their sources and one gets killed.
The best friend of the source befriends Mike
Lowery (Smith) and his partner Marcus
(Lawrence). She was at the scene of the crime so
people want to kill her too. She helps I.D. and
capture the Bad Boys.

The next thing I want to talk about is the death
of Eazy E., who died of AIDS recently. He is a good
example of how some patients don't know they
have the disease until they are going to die. Eazy
E was a Gangsta Rap pioneer. In 1988 Eazy was
just starting in the group N.W.A. He had the virus
back then. He most likely contracted the virus in
1984 or '85. Eazy E led a very promiscuous life.
Where Eazy was growing up. being a pimp was a
status symbol. With that state of mind he was
bound to catch something. Eazy's music will live
forever playing in cars, in homes, and in the
hearts of many kids who listen to rap.

My next topic is the warm weather. We have
been having some weird weather. Sometimes it is
hailing and sometimes it's sunny. There is an
upside to bad weather; all the tourists leave.

What does everyone think about the new rules
at the video store? There will be no more blocks.
If movies are brought in late you are charged
three dollars extra for new movies and a buck
fifty for old movies. The new lady is named
Darlene... stop in and introduce yourself.
