Prof. Hoffmann and his class are doing interesting work in the chem­ istry room and all are pleased. The W om an’s Social Science Club will meet Saturday, Jan u ary 12th, at the home of Mrs. Mat Brown at 2:30 P. M. Ex-President and Mrs. Hosmer are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Page, and preparing for their de­ p a rtu re to the South. Miss Ollie Geer was the last student to return from the vacation trip to friends and relatives. She is as bright and happy as ever and takes up her studies with her usual enthusiasm . We are pleased to learn that more students are coming to the L. U.O. One is expected soon from Ohio and some from Oregon. We are pre­ pared to accomodate them com­ fortably. School is progressing nicely and the students take hold with a vim since the holidays. There will be some good earnest work done at L. U. 0. bet ween now and the sum ­ mer vacation.
