spent a very pleasant afternoon

eight o’clock we went to the hall.
The night was quite storm y and we
did not have a very large audience,
but Mr. Matteson said it exceeded
liis expectations. Miss Kate M atte­
son, a prem ising young F reethinker,
kindly lent a hand and presided at
the organ.
After the lecture we
