Little Points.
Are the leaders of th e M ethodist
church in league w ith the Rom an
Catholic powers?
Perhaps when the g.»od Christian
people find the chains of Roman
Catholicism fastened around their
necks they will then realize th a t
this is reallv •> a C hristian Nation.
The fact th a t some people worry
about dead relatives until the m ind
pictures them as “ n atu ra l as life”
does not prove th a t there is no
d eath and th a t “ sp irits” are a
reality. Our advice to those who
have lost friends is to he careful

and free press and th u s stop liberty
loving citizens from injuring the
traffic in credulity and ignorance.
No danger? W ait and see.
Some men regard the use of in
toxicating liquors and tobacco, the
practice of libetinage, etc. etc. as
mere m aterial, intellectual, and
social diversions vouchsafed by
providence to am eliorate the suffer
ings of m ankind and the looking
forw ard to a h ap p ier existence in
another world as a great benefit hut
secularists regard these th in g s as
deadly poisons which have robbed
men of th eir happiness. A m an
can not be a free th in k er with his
brain befogged by poison nor can
homes, the schools of p atern al and
fraternal love, exist am ong people
whose practices m ean death to the
hom e; and as far as a future life is
concerned, every secularist knows
th a t this delusion is one of the
greatest hindrances the hum an
fam ily has in try in g to bring about
happy conditions here.
E ntertainm ent.

ence enjoyed the operetta “ Babes

The play will be given by the same
