have attracted many more than

that the Siuslaw river between
Florence and Glenada offers a fine
opportunity fo r bathing.

a lo n g distance without getting
into too deep water, makes this
sport a pleasure fo r the woman

Hawley passed through here
Monday on his way to Eugene.
He had been up the coast on a
tour o f inspection o f the beach
road the countv has just complet­
ed from the Lincoln county line
to Rock creek.
He reports the road in first
class condition and the-crew that
has been working there returned
to Eugene Monday.
This link
completes the wagon road from
the Siuslaw to the Alsea rivers.

the trip around Cape Perpetua. <

the whole distance.
