Miss Goldie VanBibber who took up the school work
in this supervisory district in 1911 and has struggled
with the pioneer conditions of the schools and by hard
work inspired and helped to bring many of them to a
condition where they have become standardized, has
sent in her resignation to take effect with the close of
this school year. The reason she gives, should also be
an incentive to those with whom she worked for the
past three years, to better educational conditions in
Western Lane County.
While the teachers, pupils and people of this section
regret the action of Miss VanBibber, the inspiration re
ceived as a result of the wonderfull work she has accom
plished will be part of a future.
