Hood River luncheon honors vaccine volunteers
Giftbags line the counter at Toll Bridge Park during an appreciation lunch on June 21
for volunteers who helped vaccinate Hood River residents.

The musical group “Noche Cabana” entertained the crowd of volunteers with a heavy
mix of Mexican music. DJ Zur, Debo Di Nero and Chido-1 (from left to right) stood
huddled around the mixer and took turns queuing songs.

and drinks to volunteers who gave their time to help coordinate vaccinations in Hood River County.
Hood River resident Michael Steinbock picks up his lunch. A big thanks to all of
the other volunteers who helped Hood River County reach the 70% vaccination
mark. Hood River remains a leader among the state.
Volunteers patiently wait in line to pick up their free lunch given to them by the
Department of Prevention at Toll Bridge Park. They had the options of ham or tur-
key sandwiches, and other vegetarian selections.
