Students w ill adhere to the follow ing guidelines as developed and determ ined by all B F staff m em bers.

2. R espectful behavior tow ard staff is conducive to an exem plary learning environm ent.
-D efiance is unacceptable.
-A ny behavior contrary to this w ill be im m ediately addressed through the discipline process.
3. E lectronic D evices
-Personal electronics are not allow ed in the classroom w ithout perm ission.
-Students w ill follow all procedures set by each classroom teacher.
-Students w ill give up their devices if required to by a staff m em ber.
4. H all Pass are required during class tim e if you are not in your designated class.

T ardies: Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to learn w hen the tardy bell rings.
Excessive tardies (3 or m ore) w ill result in adm inistrative consequences.
6. A bsences m ust be excused w ith a note or phone call to the office w ithin 3 days.
7. Food and D rink - These guidelines prom ote a clean environm ent.
B everages are allow ed only in a screw top container; no cups or cans. (Even in lockers).
Food is allow ed in the classroom for breakfast and special occasions.
Staff room supplies are off-lim its to students.
8. D ress C ode - School is your office w ork place, and your dress should reflect that.
U ndergarm ents m ust not be show ing. Shirt straps m ust be at least 1 ” w ide.
Spaghetti straps, cleavage and “ undershirts ” need to be covered.
H ats m ay be allow ed according to each teacher, but hoods are not to be w orn in the classroom .
Shirts m ust cover the m idriff, even w hen the arm s are raised straight out.
Shorts m ust reach at least halfway dow n the thigh, skirts m ust be w ithin 4 ” of the knee.
Pajam as are not appropriate to w ear to school. Exception: approved spirit days.
C lothing m ust not contain inappropriate graphics and slogans
(like guns, alcohol, tobacco, artillery, naked silhouettes, playboy bunnies, etc.)
Sunglasses are not to be w orn in the classroom .
9. Physical C ontact w ill be lim ited to hand holding only (not allow ed in the classroom ).
10. L ockers are school property and m ay be searched by staff.
-O utside posters m ust be designed and placed by staff and/or student groups.
-If a lock is desired, please access one from the school.
11. A utom obiles are not to be accessed during school tim e w ithout perm ission from staff.
-Perm ission to drive m ust be given by parents and staff. N o passengers.
12. E ligibility: G rades in all classes need to be kept at a C (70% ) or higher.
-Students w ho fall below a C w ill be put on academ ic probation for the first w eek.
-Students w ho rem ain below a C w ill be “ ineligible ” to participate in certain activities.
-Ineligible students w ill continue to practice, but w ill not be allow ed to participate in com petitions.
-Eligibility runs Tuesday to Sunday.
-Students w ill only be rem oved from the list m idw eek under extenuating circum stances.
