80% of Americans donate to their favorite causes. With the chaotic state of government and state financial
economies, more folks are deciding to help build local support services. At The Landing we strive to "Develop
opportunities for the community and it's schools now and in the future." We provide access to the Butte Falls
Food Pantry for households which are in need. We also maintain a "Pay what you can, take what you need"
Clothing Bank.
Costs for these programs include additional electricity for refrigeration, heating, transportation
of food from Medford to The Landing and many volunteer hours transporting, shelving and distributing food, as
well as sorting and shelving clothing.
Our Preschool is the only educational site for young children in the area. We serve children 3 to 5 years old for
a minimal fee of $25 a month. We have programs for children from Kindergarten through Teen years and Adult
activities as well. All of these endeavors involve utility costs to heat, and provide sanitary services. The building
is largely maintained by volunteer labor as you can see from our list of Thank You's. We need your local finan
cial support to keep our doors open. Please donate to The Landing and help our local nonprofit stay alive. Do
