Southern O regon Sound is the Rogue V alley ’s local branch of Sw eet A delines International.
They sing 4 part harm ony w ith not accom panim ent. W e have 3 BF com m unity m em bers w ho
are m em bers of this aw ard w inning group in our com m unity. This w eek Southern O regon
Sound com bined w ith N orthern G atew ay C horus to com pete in Reno for the regional contest of
choruses from our area. They received standing ovations for their perform ances of “ W hen the
Red, Red R obin G oes Bob, Bob B obin ’ A long ” and “ H ow D eep is the O cean ” . They w ere the w in
ning M idsized C horus and the Third Place w inner over all, w ith a w anning score of 593. But,
w hat they w ere m ost proud of is the aw ard for M ost Im proved C horus. 183 points im proved
from last year ’s score!
