A m endm ent 1
A n ordinance prohibiting the sale, disposition,
use, firing and discharging of firew orks and
prohibiting the discharging of firearm s and other
m aterial consisting in part of gun pow der w ithin
the lim its of B utte Falls.
W H E RE A S the Tow n C ouncil of B utte Falls
deem s it necessary to prohibit the sale,
disposition and use of all firew orks and firearm s
inside the tow n lim its;
THE TOWN OF BUTTE FALLS DOTH
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: KJIHGFEDCBA
Section 1.
That it shall be unlaw ful for any
person to sell, dispose, use, fire or discharge any
firew orks w ithin the lim its of the Tow n of B utte
Falls, w ithout com plying w ith O R S 480.130.
Section 2.
That it shall be unlaw ful to
discharge any gun, pistol, firearm or other
m aterial m ade in part of gun pow der w ith the
tow n lim its of said tow n.
Section 3.
A ny person found guilty of
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall upon conviction thereof before the court of
said tow n be fined not less than $5.00 nor m ore
than $50.00 or issued com m unity service.
T he foregoing ordinance w as passed by the
T ow n C ouncil on this 10th day of N ovem ber
2005.
