Valentine Dessert Night
On Thursday evening, February 13th, at
7:00 p.m., the Butte Falls High School National
Forensic League would like to invite the people in
the community to the Butte Falls Community
Bible Church for a fundraiser to help the speech
and debate team. This is an evening of luscious
desserts, coffee, tea, punch, auctions, raffles, and
entertainment. We want to provide the community
with the opportunity to hear the NFL students
present their speeches. There will be laughter and
amazement when everyone hears the prepared
speeches presented by the team. David Hoel and
Barry Parker will thoroughly entertain the
audience with their version of Dumb and Dumber.
Melody Carlisle speaks and sings as three zany
nuns in Nunsense. Other students presenting
their speeches or small segments from their
speeches include: Vicky Lawrence, Caleb Moore,
Jamee McIntyre, Ronnie Lyon, James Grieve,
Cody Kelley, Jed Rowden, Nikki Harms, Joshua
Wetzel, James Parlet, Britani Johnston, Tony
Beals, Arron Shaw, Amanda Newby, Bonnie
Biando, Sarah Matthews, and Hope VanLanding-
ham.
Included in the evening entertainment will
be a couple of songs by the high school choir.
As for the raffles and auctions, I know
there is a guided day of fly fishing on the holy
water being auctioned (including a special lunch).
The NFL students will be posting information
around the community on the other items being
raffled. There will also be door prizes. The
women at the Butte Falls Community Bible
Church are helping with the desserts and decor
ating for the evening.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to
attend this evening of dessert (all you can eat),
entertainment, music, raffles, auctions, prizes and
FUN.
The price is $15.00/couple or $8.00 for a
single. We are thankful for a community that is
supportive of our schools. If you are unable to
attend, but want to sponsor another couple or
person, all contributions will be appreciated.
For more information on tickets or if you
want to donate a dessert or something for the
auction or raffle, please call Molly Lawrence at
865-3242 .Marcia Warren at 865-7950 or Jeany
Moore at 865-3563.
We look forward to seeing everyone for
the Valentine Dessert at 7:00 p.m. on February
13th. Tickets available in advance or at the door.
