Renewal Rate for tee Bulletin
As most of you have heard we lost a
long time resident of the Butte Falls
Community on May 8th, 2001. The
death of Blanche Campbell has been
determined as a homicide. Anyone
with information please contact the
Oregon State Police or the Butte Falls
Police Department. Any little bit of
information may be the key to solving
this senseless killing.
I have been receiving complaints about
vehicles driving at high rates of speed
down the Alley ’s of town. The speed
limit for an alley is 15 mph. When you
exit an alley you must stop prior to

We certainley hope that everyone
enjoys reading the Bulletin. We enjoy
putting it together and distributing it for
you. Unfortunately, raising prices have
hit us as well. The cost to publish and
distribute the newsletter is over $2000
per year. This fiscal year, which is al
most over, we were blessed with re
ceiving a $1500 grant from the Earl
Family Foundation and a $500 donation
from the Big Butte Historical Society.
The town of Butte Palis wishes to give
our sincere thanks to you for helping
us get through a rather tight spot.
It is fast approaching, and so far only
one area veteran has signed up for the
parade. Remember, our Grand Marshal
this year is VETERANS. It would be nice
to have some in our parade, don ’t you
think? PLEASE call me or come by City
Hall and sign up.
We have games and booths scheduled
again this year. We also want to have a
scooter race... so all you kids that are
between the ages of 6 and 10 years old
need to come to City hall and sign up.
We are also working on having a golf
game in the football field and will have
prises for each game won. Anyone
