ROUGH TOOTHED DOLPHIN (STENA bredanensis)
Habitat: Offshore waters, usually off the edge of continental shelfs.
Range: In the Pacific Ocean; from Central California to the tropics.
Feeds on octopus and squid.
Also known as Black Porpoise, Goggle-eyed Porpoise and Steno.
RISSO’S DOLPHIN (GRAMPAS griseus)
Length: 4m.
Range: In the Pacific Ocean off N. Washington to the tropics.
Also known as Grampas, White-headed Grampas, Gray Grampas, Mottled
Grampas, White Blackfish, and Risso's Porpoise.
SPINNER DOLPHIN (STENELLA longirostins)
Habitat: Tropical oceanic and coastal waters.
Range: In the Pacific Ocean around the Hawaiian Islands.
Also known as Long-snouted Dolphin, Spinner Porpoise, and Spinner.
