Polluted words create answers highly from within
Circles of power leave trails of smoking blood and shit
Timed refusals dimensional shuffling highest to lower
Lose the bait they hiss at themselves while sacrificing
Their own wives and children to their blinded demons
All the lights within us are flashing on and off faster than gunfire
The chill gleaming of the universe mocks shit slinging monkeys
There is no time for evolution of man anymore just conscience

At 7:30 a m. 11 Sept whilst awaiting my order of biscuits
& gravy at Arnie’s, noticed the quiet atmosphere eyes sat on
burning skyscrapers stare of the other six mostly older fellows,
knew it wasn't gonna be good. The NBC newscaster spoke and
I figured this wasn’t an escape from New York rerun, it was for
real. Didn’t eat much that morning.
Immediately the shock, dismay, denial, anger, hope and
forecasts began exposing themselves in limited chatter among
the men present.
Down the road a few weeks now, not having stared at
a TV screen since, have watched and listened to co-tradesmen
discuss the situation. Topics dealing with retaliation, biological
and chemical warfare concerns, our personal civil liberties,
economic ramifications, psychological impact. Being patted
down at the airport, first time ever my suspenders set off an
alarm Never had six men and one woman place their hands
on handguns while looking at me before. Interesting times. Sorry
statement for our claimed consciousness level 2001 mankind.
Not surprising though. Figure we’ve crapped in our nest
to the tune of our extinction already. Some time ago.
My heart and prayers go out to all the innocent victims
of this and every cruelty mankind imparts. Find it particularly
ludicrous to bring God's name anywhere close to being the
driving force and/or reward for such actions, either direction.
That’s mankind's show.
next move as a nation. I can only hope we don't make a wrong
move in the near future.
As for those lost in the terrorist attacks and their families
— I sympathize immensely. I cannot even begin to comprehend
the magnitude of this horrid tragedy.

On the morning of September 11,1 remember waking
up and getting a phone call from my step-mom’s brother. He told
us to turn on the TV to the news. To my surprise I found out the
World Trade Center had just been struck down.I was so shocked
and didn't know what to think, and then it seemed like just two
minutes later everything just hit the fan. People were running
up the streets, and there was yelling and screaming. Well, since
I'm only 15 years old (and a sophomore at Neah Kah Nie High
School), I don't really think about stuff happening to our country
that is so horrible like that.
Now that days and weeks have passed and some
people are wanting to have a war and others want nothing to
do with it. me being on the non-violent side, I think to myself,
"Why'?" But all I guess people can do is wait until more evidence
comes up to get this whole tragedy fixed and over with I’m sure
I will never forget this, and maybe I'll be able to pass this story
on.

On the morning of September 11 I was listening to
the radio as usual in my room, getting ready for school (I am
15 and a sophomore at Neah Kah Nie High School), expecting
another mediocre Tuesday with little activity. I overheard
something mentioned to the effect of “The World Trade Center
in Manhattan has been hit. Damage unknown. A plane has hit
the North Tower causing mass confusion in the downtown area.”
Being a teenager of the West Coast in a small town, I
had never seen the WTC, hardly acknowledging its existence.
I don’t know anyone in New York, nor ever been there
I attended school as usual My curiosity fed by concern
led me to research the entirety of the situation. I still remain
confused and somewhat frightened, with concern regarding our

“Now that God’s laid his hands on him, I’ve taken mine
off." Some old politician said that. I've always thought that was
great. George Bush has got some respect now Someone said
he must be the unluckiest politician because of what happened
on September 11 --- but now he’s in total support of Bush as
Commander in Chief.
In my opinion Bush was good from the get-go. A lot of
my friends said he stole the election. I don't feel that way. Half
the nation voted for him. I wish some of my friends had been
kinder in the way they described Bush.
A lot of people think he’s a puppet and somebody’s
pulling his strings. But I don’t think so. Bush is speaking our
mind. He is doing what we as a country want him to do.
I am for my President, as well as I was for Clinton when
he was President even though I didn't vote for him and was
disappointed when he was reelected.
I thought it was unfair when Bush became President and
everybody jumped on him. The election was close and I think
the right man won. Everybody portrayed Bush as a bumbling
idiot, but now the world respects him for the man he really is.
I am not afraid that Bush is my President. I am proud he
is my President and I am behind him 100%.

I hope and pray nobody else is hurt and this problem will
be resolved in a civilized manner.
I think we have a lot of trouble. We haven’t seen the end
of this.
I just wish it had never happened, but it has.
BONNIE LIVELY
We have a gluttonous society. We needed a very
catastrophic wakeup call to realize the extent of our gluttony and
its effect on the rest of the world. It is tragic that 6,000 people
had to die to wake us up to what we are. If we don’t wake up to
what we have done to the world the lesson we can learn from
this horror we have experienced will have been in vain.
We have to pay attention to the way we have acted
toward the world and understand why people hate us enough to
do what they have done to us. Once we get to the root of that
problem we can start to repair it.
I know that right now we have to deal with what will
make us safe and protect us against further horror, but it always
takes something catastrophic for us to change. You can go back
to the American Revolution and the Civil War to see the type of
dramatic pivotal point of change that forces people to step up to
the plate.
Something good generally comes of out something
horrible. If not, those deaths we have just experienced will have
no meaning.

ARM THE WOMEN
I would hope the intelligence that has been gathered will
avoid collateral damage. I don’t want innocent people killed.
We’ve had enough of that.
I don’t believe in an eye for an eye.
One way to save to billions of dollars on all-out warfare
would be to supply arms to Afghanistan’s women They must
be tired of oppression. They are not allowed to get a higher
education; they cannot work outside the home or go places
without a family member.
The world is looking for unprecedented answers. We
should provide supplies and arms to millions of women the world
over who are oppressed/enslaved Nations should mandate that
governments require at least 50% of women in all bodies of
government.
Men have had a disproportionate share of power for
too long. If we are to save this wonderful planet, we must wrest
control from the testosterone-driven male species. It is time for
a new consciousness.
Make love, not war.
