JAR WARS was created in Cleveland (Ohio) by a small group of people
concerned with the ease at which mandatory drug testing and related policies were
developed and introduced into corporate and governmental areas. Their purpose was to
physically demonstrate to the White House that people do not tolerate the fascist-type of
techniques used in the so-called 'War On Drugs’. These policies are being used to limit
personal freedoms and civil rights. They use drugs — in particular marijuana — as a
scapegoat to mislead the American people from the real problems facing their economic
and political systems.
Some drugs are dangerous, but not dangerous enough to surrender civil rights
to control their use during a falsified drug crisis. Alcohol related deaths are 10 times
those from drug use; tobacco kills nearly 100 times more victims per year. Although the
government makes war on drugs, it continues to sanction alcohol and tobacco use.
The drug crisis is blown out of proportion by the U.S. government in an effort to
smokescreen actual issues facing the American people. Issues like:
-Economic tragedies caused by unemployment and dismantled social programs.
-Toxic wastes contaminating our diminishing water and land resources.
-The danger of nuclear power and subsequent problems of nuclear wastes
-The USA's continued support of dictatorships in the 3rd world (and the support
of domestic religious fanaticism).
-Government and corporate control of the mass media
».
-The mfhngement of civil rights by the creation of a police state to control drug
use.
Some of the methods for creating a police state are: amending search and
seizure laws, stripping them of their protections; setting up roadblocks to search cars
and their occupants and administer drug tests and searches; stiffening already harsh
penalties for the use and sale of non-addictive drugs; educating and coercing American
youth to turn in pushers and users, which might include family members and friends.
These were tactics used by Hitler's Nazi Party in Germany during the 1920s and
1930s, which federal law enforcement agencies apparently think are successful. These
same tactics make it easier to control people who dissent. An interesting and frightening
statistic is the USA leads the world in per capita prison populations.
The White House wants your urine. Send it! Help protest this infringement on
civil liberty by voluntarily donating your urine to the White House. Send your donations,
large or small, to;

(Oregon), where he still might be.
