Carol M. Timm
Sept. 1947 - March 2016
gt
Carol M. Timm, 68, of Baker City,
died March 3,2016, at Saint Alphon-
sus hospital from complications of
cancer. A private family interment will
be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in
Baker City.
Carol was bom on Sept. 29,1947, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin
to Richard and Violet Schenian. Being an only child, by the
time she was 8 years old, she was expected to work in her par
ent’s café washing dishes and cleaning tables.
In 1964 she married Thomas Britt, and they had two
children together, Kelly and Thomas. An untimely death took
the life of Thomas in a motor vehicle accident and she was
widowed at a very young age. Later, she married Richard
Timm; they had one daughter Christine.
Carol held several positions in her life, after moving to Baker
City in 1975. She was a Circuit County Court Clerk (Bailiff)
for many years. She was then an Office Manager and Interim
General Manager for the Sunridge and upon
retiring she was working for TEC in Baker City.
She enjoyed working in her yard and making sure her
garden was ready to go every spring. She also enjoyed
traveling with her family. They would make weekend trips to
Boise, or week long trips to Seaside, Oregon. The ocean was
her most calming and relaxing spot. She just loved
walking the beach and watching her grandchildren play in the
water.
Her most memorable times were when she was with her
family. She loved being a grandma and having sleepovers,
cookmg lessons, taking rides, playing games, seeing them
smile and having fun. She also enjoyed being at all their sport
ing events, she loved watching them play and cheering them
on. We as a family, will most definitely miss her laugh, her
smile, and her feistiness. Her presence will be greatly missed.
We would like to thank Sharon Dahlberg and our mom’s
neighbors, Kathy and Lois for their love and support of our
mom. Your friendship meant the world to her and to us.
Survivors include her children, Kelly Caldwell, Thomas
Britt, and Christine Timm-Golar (Todd); her grandchildren,
Thomas, Donald, and Daniel Caldwell; Ashley Shurte; and
Bradley, Brenden, Braxton and Breyton Golar.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Timm,
her parents and grandparents.

favorite season was summer. Donna was always thankful for
the little things in life. She didn’t even complain through the
injury and illness that she endured for over five years.
Her favorite color was blue, like her eyes. Her favorite
flower was the daisy.
