Powder Valley Boys Win Two
By Sam Stephens
The North Powder Boys Basketball Team played Helix at home
and Echo on the road this past weekend. The last time these
teams met, the Badgers won convincingly and this weekend was
no different.
The boys were on fire with their shots, played great defense,
and ran a fast paced offense as usual.
First, on Friday night they played the Grizzlies in North Powder
and from the very start, the Badgers literally ran away with the
game taking a win at home 77-36 PV.
On Saturday night, they were on the road to Echo and although
they had to work a little harder than the night before, by the end
of the night, the Badgers had another win in their pockets. Final
score against the Cougars 4was 9-43 Badgers. This gave the
Badger boys a league record of 8-3.
On Friday, the Badgers have a bye leaving Saturday night, Feb;
13 for their last League game. Powder Valley will host Wallowa
for the final game and senior night.
Game time will be 1:45 p.m. for girls JV, 2:30
p.m. boys JV, 4 p.m. girls varsity and 5:30 p.m,
boys varsity. Come support the Badgers for the
last league game and senior night. Cheer them on
to districts! Go Badgers!
