Saturday night the Eagles hosted
a special Rib Dinner and silent
auction which alone raised about
$2600 according to Joelene Grif
fin. The ribs were prepared by Bev
White and there was a special per
formance by the Elk's Drum and
Bugle Corps. Following their
music, David Cole served as DJ for
additional music.
"We did this to raise money for
the Wounded Warrior Project. We
also had numerous cash donations
from Ash Grove Cement, Precision
Import, and others," said Joelene.
In addition to the local donations,
some were made from out of the
area including Portland, California,
Tennessee and Idaho.
