Sunday, April 11
*Cassie Cavagnaro was
charged with restraining order
violation and detained in
Josephine County Jail (JCJ)
following an incident in the
100 block of Cascade Drive at
9:09 p.m.
Monday, April 12
*An alert citizen noticed
a white interstate cargo
trailer hooked up to a beige
Chevy/GMC pickup truck
parked in the 29000 block of
Redwood hwy. at 8:43 a.m.
According to a Facebook
post, it was stolen from
Gasquet, California. The dark-
haired driver left after being
confronted.
*A man in the 300
block of Aquarius Way was
deceased at 1:09 p.m.
*Allison Cristine
Clanton was arrested at 3:39
p.m. in the 23000 block of
Redwood hwy. and detained
in JCJ for failure to appear for
assault.
Tuesday, April 13
*A fellow in a brown
jacket started his day by
drinking a beer while sitting
in a fountain in the 100 block
of S. Redwood hwy. at 9:18
a.m.
*At 12:37 p.m. a green
Powder River gate, chain
and lock were stolen from a
mining claim near milepost
(MP) 4 of Lone Mountain
Road.
*Christopher Du Long
was taken into custody
near Pinewood Way and
Redwood hwy. at 9:48 p.m.
Du Long was detained in
JCJ for misdemeanor driving
while suspended (DWS) and
driving under the influence of
intoxicants (DUII).
*Alexandern Lewis
kuckuck was detained at
11:03 p.m. in the 18000 block
of Redwood hwy. kuckuck
was released and cited to
appear in Josephine County
Circuit Court (JCCC) May 27
for DUII.
Wednesday, April 14
*At 10:04 a.m. a
keyboard warrior threatened
to shoot a guy in the 200
block of E. Lister Street
if he did not leave town.
The harassed fellow was
advised to contact Facebook
administration to delete the
post and block or delete
unwanted friends.
*A resident in Pomeroy
Estates received a fraudulent
credit card for Tractor
Supply through Citibank at
10:26 a.m. There were two
mysterious charges, one for a
lawn mower and another for
$1,000.
*Stranded travelers in a
Ford Escalade were rescued
and pushed across 70 feet of
snow and ice nearly 12 miles
up happy Camp Road at 1:45
p.m.
*A bag of unknown pills
was turned in to the Cave
Junction substation in the 200
block of W. Lister Street at
2:18 p.m.
*An elderly fellow
was smoking in his house
in the 900 block of N. Old
Stage Road at 5:26 p.m. The
gentleman is on oxygen, and

an individual was afraid ‘he
would blow them all off the
face of the earth’.
*A barbarian launched
a rock through a window in a
travel trailer in the 100 block
of S. Boundary Avenue at
7:06 p.m.
Thursday, April 15
*An enterprising chap
tried to buy items with
counterfeit tens and fives at a
business in the 400 block of
Caves hwy. at 8:29 a.m.
*A middle-aged man on
an electric-assisted bicycle
crashed into the passenger
side of a red Ford Focus in
the 25600 block of Redwood
hwy. at 10:47 a.m. The
bicyclist was transported to
Three Rivers Community
hospital (TRh) by American
Medical Response (AMR).
To add insult to injury, he will
be cited for no helmet and
improper use of lanes.
*Trees were logged in
the 600 block of Samarkand
Drive without permission in
February. Photos and videos
documented bags of soil and
PVC framing for greenhouses,
in preparation for further
development. At 7:16 p.m. the

Friday, April 16
*A camera recorded a
truck when it plowed over two
solar lights, down a sidewalk,
and into a field in the 100
block of Cabernet Circle at
2:13 a.m.
*A man, 75, was
deceased in the 29700 block
of Redwood hwy. at 8:59
p.m.
Saturday, April 17
*At 6:07 a.m. a rock was
found in front of a ‘spider-
web broken’ window in the
25600 block of Redwood
hwy.
*No one appeared to be
injured after a green minivan
loaded with several teenagers
struck a tree near Six Mile
Campground on Illinois River
Road at 6:31 p.m. Bystanders
claimed a passenger that
resembled a lumberjack
yelled, “I should not have let
you drive.” Law enforcement
sought the dyed-blonde driver,
35-40, who was described as a
heavyset gal in a bikini.
*The driver of a yellow
bus was weaving all over the
road, dragging chains, and
causing sparks near Eight
Dollar Mountain Road and
Redwood hwy. at 9:15 p.m.
The bus has ‘school’ on the
back and the sides are painted
numerous colors.

The volunteers and staff of the
Illinois Valley Fire District
Responded to these recent Emergency calls
property owner was advised
to invest in game cameras,
and to gate, fence and post the
property.
*At 1:33 p.m. a naked
female yelled that a child
was locked in a car and there
were dogs everywhere. She
was transported from the 900
block of N. Old Stage Road
by AMR.
*Rell Baty was taken
into custody after a rollover
accident involving a tan
Nissan Pathfinder near MP 6
of Illinois River Road at 4:11
p.m. Baty was detained in JCJ
for probation violation.
*A resident in the 4300
block of Deer Creek Road
realized that $4,000 was
missing from unemployment
benefits on his debit card. The
funds were wire transferred
into an account in Nashville,
Tennessee. Information was
provided for Federal Bureau
of Investigation’s Internet
Crime Complaint Center
website at IC3.gov.
