*A man stated that between 8:30-11
p.m. June 14, an unknown person entered
his son’s travel trailer in the 6600 block
of Rockydale Road. The burglar allegedly
stole a .45 caliber high-point carbine rifle
with a blued barrel, similar to an AK7, and
a Ruger P89 9mm. semi-automatic hand-
gun. Titles to several vehicles, a set of keys,
and $800 cash also disappeared. A report
was filed for burglary and first-degree theft.
*A guy claimed that his father’s
home had recently been burglarized, and
he saw the suspect’s vehicle in the 200
block of W. Watkins Street at 10:46 a.m.
He watched the primer-gray Ford F350
long-bed pickup truck as it traveled east on
a road by the school or the park. The driver
was a white guy with dark brown hair, and
the passenger was a gal with black hair. He
didn’t know what color shirt the suspect
was wearing, but did notice his dirty hands.

the 300 block of S. Kerby Avenue claimed
she needed police right away, and a guy
could be heard yelling in the background.
Her vehicle was recently stolen, then

hesitant to involve law enforcement due to
fear of retaliation. She phoned 911 again at
12:45 p.m., and said she was fine, but she
sounded hesitant, so deputies went to check
on her. The guy left before their arrival, and
there was no evidence of a crime, so the gal
was advised of her options.
