of the billions sent to help
others and we’re sinking fast.
Wake up people before it’s
too late. Where’s a cop when
we need them. Well, tax dollars
are spent foolishly someplace
else. Government should be
run like our home. If you don’t
have the money, don’t write
the check.
We have the oil, technology,
the power in numbers so let’s
demand it stays here or we
all stay put. Let them know
we mean it. They’re nothing
without us. Remember, home
first. God bless us all.

Gas & Taxes
We need oil to produce
gas, right? Well, I don’t see
the problem. We have plenty
of oil. Is oil the reason for the
wars we continue to lose? Not
to mention how many men and
women who put their lives on
the line for this country only to
be treated unfairly. When our
vets return wounded, crippled
or mental, they should be
100% cared for, including
their family, for the rest of
their life.
I say bring our troops
home and protect our borders.
And when we are attacked
or threatened, quit screwing
around and go after the intruders
and bring them to military
justice, without political bs.
Including the druggies. Let’s
quit the poor this, poor that.
Don’t tell me we can’t find
Bin Laden. That’s another lie.
Home first. Quit spending our
money on bs.
Lottery: As I recall the
vote for the lottery was a
vote to finance schools for
better education in Oregon.
Not state parks! More money
down the drain. Government,
government,
government.
They’re way too big. We’re
being treated like small
children. Let’s quit driving for
a while. Don’t use your lights,
etc. And watch a miracle pop
up, like lower prices at the
pump and at the light switch.
The
government
is
supposed to be looking out
for us, but people seem to
think we can’t control them,
but we can. We all need to
stand up and make it happen.
If we don’t become part of the
solution, we become part of
the problem. Remember, they
need us. And when we quit,
then they’ll listen.
Budgets, Less Spending,
Cuts: It’s really simple… If
you don’t have the money,
don’t write the check! Buy and
spend on what you need first,
save what you have left (if
any). Save for the rainy day.
This is old-fashioned, but it
works.
Servers at restaurants,
lounges, etc. are told that
government taxes are based
on a percentage of what you
should have received on your
shift. What right does I.R. S.
or anyone have to tell a server
they’re to pay taxes on their
tips. People, wake up, are you
scared of them? Don’t be, I’m
not. Stand up and be accounted
before it’s past too late.
Change? Yeah… from bad
to much worse. Beginning
with this so-called president
and the entire Congress. And
let us not forget the lobbyists.
“Money mongers”. They’re a
bad joke. Wake up people, vote
them out now! Again, as it was
and should always be, “We the
people” because together we
stand, divided we fall.
We’re all in this crap and
lies together. And if it’s going
to change for us and for the
better, we must stand together,
like it or not. It’s the only
way. Question…why do most
protests begin in the East?
Why not here in the West. It
seems to me that we have a
better range of thinking about
what’s good for everyone.
But the West seems to be the
followers. Let’s lead the pack.
Let’s get together.
Let’s quit driving unless
it’s necessary. I know it will
hurt but look what’s coming. A
freight train.
I’ve heard more times that
protesting doesn’t do any good.
Also why vote. Or do you like
to just do what you’re told.
Sound familiar? Not standing
together is what got us in this
mess in the first place. It has
to start some place. Why not
here? Remember, if we’re not
part of the solution, then we’re
part of the problem. We’re
being regulated to death. Turn
your lights off, don’t drive
until you have to. Grow your
own garden, it’s fun, and good
food too. Individually and/
or groups, protest in public
places. Choose freedom, not
slavery. You may be surprised
who will join you.
Have you seen the bums in
the valley relieving themselves
out in public? Well, I have,
and done something about it.
How about you? What about
our children, grandchildren
seeing that too? We don’t have
to allow that filth in our valley.
What kind of message is that
to our visitors too?
We have the ultimate power
to stop all of this bs. Wake up
America. Let’s get our house
in order. Sending our jobs
overseas is just plain stupid.
Bring the jobs back home to put
us back to work. Keep our tax
dollars here. Home first. And
bring our troops home. Protect
all of our borders. Take care
of our vets. Men and women
put their lives on the line for
our freedom. The money sent
over there should be for the
wounded, and should be cared
for, for the rest of their life
including their family. Think

Crosswalk Petition
Thank you for all the
support on the crosswalk from
Taylor’s and Dairy Queen, it is
working. I have received phone
calls and e-mails from ODOT
on this matter. Now Cave
Junction has a petition which
I received 4 p.m. on April 21
that has to be submitted by 4
p.m. on April 27. As of April
25, 2011, I have more than 40
signatures. The petition is at
the Red Barn Laundromat.
Help Cave Junction to be
heard – phone ODOT at 541-
774-6299 for a safer crosswalk
and thanks.
I received my Frontier’s
proposed 7.9% “Residential
access line rate increase
notice” letter last month. If a
review is not requested by 500
or at least 10% of Frontier’s
customers the rate increase
will become effective on May
18, 2011 without a review.
We, who oppose this must
submit signed petitions to the
Public Utility Commission of
Oregon on or before May 8,
2011 to request the commission
to review and hopefully deny
Frontier’s rate request.
There
are
petitions
circulating throughout Illinois
Valley; in Cave Junction: at
Century 21 Harris & Taylor
at 103 N. Redwood Hwy., or
Southern Oregon Outreach
Foods (SOOF) at 193 South
Caves Ave.; in Selma: Lake
Selmac Resort, Mary’s Mini
Mart, Selmac Auto Service,
GP Hardwoods Plus or call Jim
at 541-471-4942 for copies.
My Frontier bill includes
numerous other charges and
fees totaling over 41% of
my total bill each month, to
add another 7.9% not in this
current economy, and not with
the level of service Frontier is
currently providing.
