the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966
and implementing regulations 36 CFR Part 800
for a proposed fencing project at Illinois Valley
Airport, Cave Junction.
A small portion of the airport has been desig-
nated as the Siskiyou Smokejumper Base His-
toric District under the National Register of His-
toric Places (NRHP). Other properties on the
airport are also being evaluated by consultants
to determine their eligibility for the NRHP. This
