During reunion weekend
we see old friends and ac-
quaintances, and catch up on
what they have been doing,
their jobs and accomplish-
ments.
In Mark, chapter 6, we
learn that when Jesus returned
to his hometown, people asked
who he thought he was, why he
was an authority on the word
of God, instead of welcoming
him and listening to his preach-
ing. Even when he cured the
sick, there was still skepticism.
But did this reception de-
ter Him from travelling to other
towns and cities to preach the
word of God? No. So, if we
truly believe in the word of
God, we should be messengers
of His word regardless of the
reception we receive.
