Illinois Valley News, Cave Junction, OR Wednesday, June 4, 2008 Page 6 Ramage-Smith wedding planned Dillard-Allen vows recited The May 22, 2008 wedding of Chelsea Leanna Dillard and Kory Robert Allen is announced by their parents, Selma residents Bill & Sandy Dillard, and Danual & Sharon Allen, of Smith River, Calif. The wedding was held at Lake Selmac in Selma on May 22. A reception followed at the Dillard home following a four- day honeymoon at Whaleshead Cabins near Brookings, Ore. There will be a second wedding reception at the Allen home on June 28. The wedding, including the sealing of the couple’s vows, was conducted by Bishop John A. “Jack” Brown of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cave Junction Ward. The bridegroom’s best man and ring bearer was his best friend, Josh Goodman. The bride’s maid of honor was her best friend and sister, Brandy Dillard. Groomsmen were Ethan Miller and the bride’s brother, Keith Dillard. Brides- maids were Rene Salerni and Sabrina Miller. Kory’s family who attended were his parents; his grand- parents, Robert & Elaine and Allen; and his sisters, Nicole Allen, Jenna Allen and Emily Allen. Chelsea’s family who attended were her parents; grand- parents Inetha and Don Dillard, and Vicky Rickard. Also sib- lings, Jessica Dillard with fiancé, Stephen Evans and their children, Ousten and Emma Evans; Keith Dillard and his wife, Jessica; Brandy Dillard and Billy Dillard. Chelsea’s brother, Donny Dillard, could not attend, as he is serving a two-year mission for the LDS Church in Colum- bus, Ohio. He sent his love and blessing. Other family members and friends also were present to witness the joyous occasion. Kory and Chelsea are residents of Selma, and have plans to continue their education. He is a graduate of Castle Rock Charter School in Crescent City. Chelsea is currently a student in the Illinois Valley High School GED program at the RCC Kerby Belt Bldg. Amanda Ramage, the daughter of Catherine Ramage, of Northern California, will marry Dean Smith, son of Jeri Smith, a longtime resident of Cave Junction. Their outdoor ceremony will be held at Bridgeview Vineyards Winery in Cave Junction on June 21, 2008. Ramage is the mother of two daughters, Freya Marie and Tears of Amber. She has lived in the Cave Junction area two years and is a licensed Oregon Health Care provider.
