nual auction at Wild River Brewing & Pizza
Co. Friday night, Nov. 16. Jim Frick was
auctioneer, assisted by Dennis Strayer and
Terri Hill. Beer-and-wine tasting was spon-
sored by Wild River, Foris Vineyards, and
Bridgeview Vineyards Winery. Auction

Cave Junction Lions Club conducted its fifth
annual Turkey Bingo Saturday, Nov. 10 in the
county building in Cave Junction. James Mitchell
(left) was the main prize-winner, taking home a
complete Thanksgiving dinner. CJ Lions donated
proceeds from the first four years to Illinois Valley
Safe House Alliance. This year’s proceeds go to
the club, and an organization will be selected for
the proceeds from the next four years. (Photos
