Page 10 Illinois Valley News, Cave Junction, OR Wednesday, October 31, 2007 Spate of crashes keep I.V. emergency personnel busy A flurry of car wrecks littered Illinois Valley roads last week. One on Tuesday eve- ning, Oct. 23 occurred when a pickup truck driven by Mary Lillian Featherston, 65, crashed into a storage unit used by Lynn Boucher- Johnson at A+ Mini-Storage on N. Redwood Hwy. at Hanby Lane. Boucher-Johnson is resident manager. No inju- ries were reported to either Featherston or the unidenti- fied driver of another pickup involved. Two accidents occurred Thursday, Oct. 25. One was reported at 11:30 a.m. in Downtown Kerby at It’s a Burl. The driver was trans- ported by American Medi- cal Response (AMR) ambu- lance. At 7 p.m. a rollover crash requiring extrication by Illinois Valley Fire Dis- trict occurred in the 4400 block of Holland Loop. In- dications were that speed was a factor. Pacific Power responded the next morning to replace a broken utility pole. Details of the Thursday crashes were unavailable. First office at I.V.
