COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of
the Illinois Valley Rural Fire Protection District,
Josephine County, State of Oregon, to discuss
the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2007 to
June 30, 2008 will be held at 681 Caves Hwy.,
Cave Junction, Oregon. The meeting will take
place on the 2nd day of April, 2007 at 6:00
p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive
the budget message and to receive comment
from the public on the budget. A copy of the
budget documentation may be inspected or
obtained on or after April 2, 2007 at 681 Caves
Hwy., Cave Junction, Oregon between the

for the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009.

A FLUE FIRE at 275 Maureen Drive
brought a response from Illinois Valley
Fire District (IVFD) at approximately
11:43 a.m. Monday, March 26. Deputy
Chief Jeff Gavlik said that the home
owner had the flue cleaned near the end
of last winter, but that the ‘wrong ele-
ments’ somehow got into the flue.
