‘Walt’ Wiltfong
A memorial service will
be held Sunday, Dec. 3 for
Kerby resident Walter “Walt”
Everett Wiltfong, 84, who died
Nov. 17, 2006 at an Ashland
nursing home.
The service will begin at 2
p.m. at the Kerby Belt Masonic
Lodge.
Mr. Wiltfong was born on
March 23, 1922 in Denver. He
worked in the U.S. Post Office
in Marysville, Calif. He was
retired as an auto sales man-
ager in California, and he
served in the U.S. Army during
World War II.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING WITH HELP from willing-and-ready organizations and agencies
was the topic during a workshop in Cave Junction City Hall Saturday, Nov. 18. The pro-
gram was co-sponsored by Century 21 Harris & Taylor, and Golf Savings Bank, a subsidi-
ary of the Sterling Financial Family. First American Title was not a sponsor, as incorrectly
stated last week, but a participant. The workshop was endorsed by Illinois Valley Chamber
of Commerce, and I.V. Merchants Association. Among those helping conduct the work-
shop were Luz Moore, of C21 Harris & Taylor; Barbara Rosenberg and Rosita Redd, of
Golf; and Sharon Williams, of First American. Moore said that additional workshops will be
announced in ‘Illinois Valley News.’ (Photo by ‘I.V. News’)

The finding could play
a significant role in the de-
velopment of therapies to
cure migraines and other
craniofacial pain conditions
like TMJ (temporoman-
dibular joint) disorder.
According to the Na-
tional Institutes of Health
(NIH), approximately 10
percent of Americans suffer
from chronic pain condi-
tions and a significant por-
tion of them have chronic
craniofacial pain.

The Bottom Line: We are all stuck with the problem of
sin. No one is immune from its effects.
Christians need to get the message out -- to share the Gospel
with others -- to let them know of God’s love and grace for all who
believe.
