Pregnancy Center’s
caseload doubled
During 2005, the Pregnancy Center of
the Illinois Valley assisted residents of Illi-
nois Valley 733 times.
Forty-four people participated in the
Bridges program during the year -- some for
a couple of meetings, while others attended
throughout the year. The Bridges Program
accounted for 85 percent of the visits.
Pregnancy tests were 10 percent of the
total (73 tests), and another 5 percent in-
volved post-abortion healing, general ses-
sions, and abstinence encouragement.
The center’s caseload nearly doubled
during the 2005 (up from 394 in 2004).
